The terms, kept simple.

1 Definitions

• "RippleFloor", "Platform", "we", "us" — refers to ripplefloor.com, operated by RippleFloor (the entity behind it), based in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.
• "User", "you" — any individual, company, or entity that accesses or uses the Platform.
• "Services" — all features including property listings, comparison tools, developer profiles, enquiry submissions, site visit bookings, valuation tools, and informational content.
• "Content" — all text, images, videos, data, floor plans, pricing, maps, and materials on the Platform.
• "Developer" — any real estate developer or builder whose projects are listed on the Platform.
• "Property Listing" — any residential or commercial property displayed on the Platform.
• "Personal Information" — any information that identifies a User, including name, email, phone number, and location.

2 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RippleFloor, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions along with our Privacy Policy. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and RippleFloor.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must discontinue using the Platform immediately. Continued use after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

3 Eligibility

To use the Services provided by RippleFloor, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age and legally competent to enter into a binding agreement under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
• Provide accurate, truthful, and complete information when submitting any form on the Platform.
• Not be barred from receiving services under the laws of India.

If using the Platform on behalf of a company or entity, you represent that you are authorised to bind such entity to these Terms.

4 Account Registration & Security

Certain features may require you to submit contact information. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of your account credentials.
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account.
• Notify RippleFloor immediately of any unauthorised access or security breach.

RippleFloor reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts at any time for suspected inaccurate, incomplete, or fraudulent activity.

5 Services Provided

RippleFloor provides the following Services:

• Property Listings: Browse verified residential and commercial properties — apartments, villas, plots, row houses, villaments, and commercial spaces across Kolkata and its wider metropolitan region (Howrah, Salt Lake, New Town, Rajarhat, EM Bypass, Joka, and beyond).
• Property Comparison: Compare up to 4 properties side-by-side on pricing, amenities, RERA / WBHIRA status, possession dates, and 12+ data points.
• Developer Profiles: Access verified developer portfolios with active and completed projects, ratings, and company details.
• Ripplescore Valuation: Get instant data-backed property valuations powered by verified Kolkata deal data.
• Enquiry & Site Visits: Submit enquiries and request free, accompanied site visits. Our advisors coordinate further assistance.
• Informational Content: Access real estate guides, market insights, locality profiles, and price trends across Kolkata.

6 User Obligations & Conduct

As a User of RippleFloor, you agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious purpose.
• Post defamatory, obscene, threatening, or objectionable content.
• Impersonate any person or entity.
• Use automated systems, bots, scrapers, or spiders to access or extract data without written consent.
• Attempt unauthorised access to the Platform's servers, databases, or systems.
• Interfere with the integrity, security, or performance of the Platform.
• Transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code.
• Use contact information obtained through the Platform for spamming or unsolicited marketing.
• Copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from Platform Content without permission.
• Harvest or store personal data of other Users.

7 Property Listings & Information

You acknowledge and agree that:

• Property information — pricing, availability, floor plans, amenities, specifications, RERA / WBHIRA numbers, possession dates, and images — is provided by the respective Developers.
• RippleFloor takes reasonable steps to verify listings but does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of every detail.
• Prices are indicative and subject to change. Verify all pricing directly with the Developer before committing.
• Images, renders, and floor plans are illustrative and may not represent the finished product exactly.
• RERA / WBHIRA registration numbers are as provided by Developers. Verify them independently on the West Bengal HIRA portal (hira.wb.gov.in) or your state's RERA authority.
• RippleFloor does not endorse, recommend, or guarantee any property, developer, or investment outcome.

8 No Brokerage & Free-for-Buyers Policy

RippleFloor is 100% free for property buyers. We do not charge brokerage, commission, or fees for browsing, comparing, requesting valuations, or submitting enquiries. Site visits, documentation guidance, and home-loan introductions are also free.

We earn a standard fee from Developers when a deal closes. This is paid by the Developer and never affects the price you pay or the recommendations you receive.

Any transaction between a User and a Developer is solely between those parties. RippleFloor bears no responsibility for disputes, losses, or claims arising from such transactions beyond the role of facilitator.

9 Intellectual Property

All Content — including the RippleFloor name, logo, design, UI, text, graphics, images, software, source code, and the "Ripplescore" valuation feature — is the exclusive property of RippleFloor and is protected under the Copyright Act 1957, Trade Marks Act 1999, and applicable international treaties.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence for personal, non-commercial use. You shall not:

• Copy, modify, reproduce, distribute, or transmit any Content without written consent.
• Use the RippleFloor brand name, logo, or trademarks in any misleading or unauthorised manner.
• Decompile, reverse-engineer, or disassemble any Platform software.
• Frame, mirror, or use meta tags with RippleFloor's name without permission.

10 Privacy & Data Protection

Your Personal Information is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you consent to:

• Collection of information you provide through enquiry forms, contact forms, valuation requests, and site visit bookings.
• Use of cookies, Google Analytics, and similar technologies for usage analytics and platform improvement.
• Sharing your contact information with relevant Developers or RippleFloor advisors to facilitate property enquiries. We never sell personal data to third parties.
• Reasonable security measures to protect your data — though no electronic method is 100% secure.

11 Third-Party Links & Services

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites including Google Maps, YouTube, developer websites, banking partners (HDFC, SBI, ICICI, Axis), and social media platforms. RippleFloor does not endorse and is not responsible for third-party content, privacy policies, or practices. Interaction with third-party services is at your own risk.

12 Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform and Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, including:

• Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
• Warranties that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
• Warranties regarding the accuracy or timeliness of any property listing, pricing, valuation estimate, or developer information.

13 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RippleFloor shall not be liable for:

• Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages from use of the Platform.
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunities, or goodwill.
• Damages from reliance on property details, pricing, RERA / WBHIRA status, or developer claims.
• Disputes between Users and Developers or any third party.
• Unauthorised access to or alteration of your data.

Total aggregate liability shall not exceed INR 10,000.

14 Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless RippleFloor and its officers, directors, employees, advisors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from:

• Your use of or access to the Platform.
• Your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
• Your violation of third-party rights (intellectual property, privacy, etc.).
• Any content or information you submit through the Platform.

15 Termination

RippleFloor may suspend or terminate your access at any time, without notice, for breach of Terms, suspected fraud, law-enforcement requests, or extended inactivity.

Upon termination, provisions regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limitations, and indemnification shall survive.

16 Modifications to Terms

RippleFloor may modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

17 Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.
